ROY SCHEIDER - SCHEIDER TO FINISH IRON CROSS MOVIE?

Late actor ROY SCHEIDER will appear on the silver screen for the final time in upcoming movie IRON CROSS - three months after his death (10Feb08).
The actor, who was best known for playing police chief Martin Brody in the Jaws franchise, was just one scene away from completing his last film before dying of multiple myeloma, a cancer of the plasma cells, earlier this year (08).
But movie bosses will resurrect the star with the help of a prosthetic mask and a stand-in actor in a bid to finish the film, reports New York gossip column PageSix.
A source tells the publication, "The casting director is working with top Hollywood make-up artist and prosthetic latex mask-maker Louis Lazzara.
"(He'll) create a perfect replica of Scheider's face and ensure the final scene can be completed with the use of a stand-in actor."
