SAVED BY THE BELL - SAVED BY THE BELL STAR DROPS TABLOID LAWSUIT
Former SAVED BY THE BELL star LARK VOORHIES has dropped her lawsuit against US tabloid the National Enquirer. The actress, who played LISA TURTLE on the US teen show, alleged the Enquirer printed false accusations that she was addicted to cocaine. The article also quoted a "friend" of Voorhies' saying she had a "terrible drug problem" and was "bipolar". Voorhies claims the Enquirer article cost her several acting jobs, invaded her privacy and caused her "humiliation, embarrassment, hurt feelings, metal anguish and suffering." The star's attorney, CYRUS J NOWNEJADI tells celebrity website TMZ.com, "The allegations are untrue and the matter has been resolved."
