BON JOVI - SAMBORA'S TRIP TO 'HELL' AND BACK

BON JOVI guitarist RICHIE SAMBORA feared he'd never recover from a severe bout of depression last year (07) - because his life was in tatters. The musician was admitted to rehab following a lengthy battle with alcohol, sparked by his deteriorating marriage to actress Heather Locklear and the ailing health of his dad, among other factors. However, Sambora managed to drag himself out of the "wreckage" with the help of his friends and his own courage. He tells People.com, "I got divorced (from Locklear), I was going through a custody battle, I was having alcohol addiction problems, my dad was dying. "It was a gang tackle from hell, basically. And crawling out of that wreckage was a very triumphant victory."
