BON JOVI - SAMBORA CHARGED WITH DUI

BON JOVI star RICHIE SAMBORA has been charged with two misdemeanour counts of driving under the influence (DUI) - but has reportedly escaped a charge of child endangerment.
The rocker's 10-year-old daughter and her cousin were passengers in his vehicle when Sambora was arrested for drink-driving last month (Mar08), and officers at Laguna Beach Police in California wanted prosecutors to get tough with him.
But, according to TMZ.com, law enforcement sources have revealed that the Orange County District Attorney has just chosen to charge Sambora with DUI and driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher, after disagreeing with the arresting officers.
Sambora is now facing up to six months in jail, if he is convicted of the charges. His arraignment is set for 7 May (08).
