BON JOVI - SAMBORA ARRESTED FOR DUI

BON JOVI rocker RICHIE SAMBORA has been arrested for drink-driving in California. The Living On A Prayer hitmaker was pulled over by cops in Laguna Beach shortly before 11pm on Tuesday (25Mar08) after they observed him driving erratically. Sambora, who had been travelling with an unidentified female passenger, failed numerous field sobriety tests and was detained for driving under the influence (DUI). At the station, he chose to take a blood test instead of the usual breathalyser to discover if he was over the legal limit. Cops are currently awaiting test results. Sambora appears tired and dishevelled in a police mugshot, taken during his detention. However, an officer tells TMZ.com there was no indication of drugs. He was released at around 4am on Wednesday (26Mar08). The musician was admitted to rehab last year (07) following a battle with alcoholism, sparked by his deteriorating marriage to actress Heather Locklear and the ailing health of his dad, among other factors. He enjoyed a stint at celebrity rehab facility the Cirque Lodge in Utah months after completing a detox at the UCLA Medical Center.
