Rapper RZA is to step behind the camera and make his directorial debut - with the help of filmmaker pal ELI ROTH
RZA got his first taste of Hollywood when he teamed up with Quentin Tarantino to provide the soundtracks and film scores for 2003's Kill Bill: Vol. 1 and 2004's Kill Bill: Vol. 2.
And now the Wu-Tang Clan star is to take the helm of new martial arts film The Man With The Iron Fist.
Director Eli Roth tells Billboard.com, "Yes, it is true. RZA's script is amazing. He has been studying and directing with Tarantino for years and he's really ready to get behind the camera.
"His impact on rap music and hip hop culture cannot be measured, and he's ready to add his own unique style and vision to the world of film. This movie will have everything martial arts fans could want, combined with RZA's superb musical talent."
