MEG RYAN - RYAN PLANS TV RETURN AS CARRIE FISHER

MEG RYAN is planning a TV comeback, 22 years after she starred in short-lived 1980s western series WILDSIDE. The WHEN HARRY MET SALLY star will reportedly star in a TV mini-series based on STAR WARS actress CARRIE FISHER's memoir THE BEST AWFUL. In the new TV project, Ryan is the favourite to play SUZANNE VALE, a bipolar actress struggling to cope after divorcing her gay husband. The Best Awful was Fisher's follow-up to her hit book POSTCARDS FROM THE EDGE, which was turned into a 1990 movie.
