RYAN ADAMS - RYAN ADAMS DEBUT NOVEL TO BE PUBLISHED

RYAN ADAMS has been talking about the publication of his debut novel entitled Infinity Blues.

According to the singer-songwriter's blog, the book will be published by Akashic Books in the US.

However, the singer – who first came to prominence in alt-country band WHISKEYTOWN – has not made it clear whether it is a work of fiction or prose.

Adams wrote: "Wow…I guess this dream is coming true. My grandparents, who taught me to write and type and dream, I am so proud of all your hard work today, even if this is a long, long sad book but some funny too, just like those black and white movies in the heat of the eastern seaboard – rolling through the windows of our home.

I am so humbled and so proud to be an Akashic Books author. Man, this is just crazy, like when I saw the first test pressing of the first seven inch record I was on."

It is not yet known if the novel will be released in the UK.
