KEN RUSSELL - RUSSELL SELLS BURNT OUT COUNTRY HOME

Veteran filmmaker KEN RUSSELL's burnt out British country house has been sold for $1.2 million (GBP600,000). The Devils director's 16th century rural home was destroyed by a fire last year (Apr06). But the 80-year-old is celebrating after bidding of the home reached $1.2 million when it recently went up for auction. He says, "It's a magical spot, but it's time to move on."
