AISHWARYA RAI - ROSHAN AND KAJOL WIN ZEE CINE AWARDS

Indian stars HRITHIK ROSHAN and KAJOL were the big winners at the Zee Cine Awards in Malaysia on Sunday (01APR07), taking home the coveted Best Actor and Best Actress trophies. Roshan won recognition for his performance in KRRISH (THERE'S NO ONE LIKE YOU), while Kajol was praised for her role in FANAA at the star-studded ceremony in the Genting Highlands. RAKEYSH OMPRAKASH MEHRA picked up Best Director and Best Film for RANG DE BASANTI (PAINT IT YELLOW). Bride and groom-to-be AISHWARYA RAI and ABHISHEK BACHCHAN entertained the audience with a rock 'n' roll song, before the heart-throb went on to accept the Best Supporting Actor gong for KABHI ALVIDA NAA KEHAN (NEVER SAY GOODBYE). Other winners on the night included KONKONA SEN SHARMA for Best Supporting Actress for OMKARA and her co-star SAIF ALI KHAN for Best Actor In A Negative Role.
