KAISER CHIEFS - RONSON TO TEAM UP WITH THE CHIEFS

DJ and producer MARK RONSON is to work with the KAISER CHIEFS on their next album, it has been reported.
According to the Mirror, the BRIT AWARD winning star is to produce the band's follow-up to 2005's EMPLOYMENT and 2007's YOURS TRULY, ANGRY MOB.
NICK HODGSON, drummer with the band, told Xfm that the group has already written a "load of songs" for the new album and are "busy writing more", the newspaper reports.
Fans can expect a "big difference between them and our old stuff", HODGSON commented.
RONSON took home the BRIT AWARD for Best British Male Solo Artist earlier this month and entertained the fans and stars by performing a number of his collaborations on stage.
The medley included versions of hit singles VALERIE with AMY WINEHOUSE, STOP ME with DANIEL MERRIWEATHER and a cover of COLDPLAY'S GOD PUT A SMILE UPON YOPUR FACE with ADELE.
His success at this year's BRIT AWARDS followed the Grammy he received for Best Producer this year for his work on his solo album VERSION and WINEHOUSE'S BACK TO BLACK.
Meanwhile, the KAISER CHIEFS are up for the Best Live Act prize at this year's NME AWARDS taking place this week.
The awards are to be followed by the Big Gig at the O2 Arena, with the band performing alongside THE CRIBS, THE KLAXONS, BLOC PARTY and the MANIC STREET PREACHERS.
