MARK RONSON - RONSON, LED ZEPPELIN AND BROLIN ARE GQ MEN OF THE YEAR

MARK RONSON, LED ZEPPELIN and JOSH BROLIN were all hailed as GQ magazine's Men of the Year at a star-studded ceremony in London.
The event at London's Royal Opera House on Tuesday (02Sep08) night saw the British publication pay tribute to a variety of leading men.
Ronson landed the Alfred Dunhill Maverick of the Year Award and admitted he was baffled by the honour when he took the stage to accept his trophy, saying: "I asked my mate what a maverick was and he said it was a gay man who has never had sex with a woman in his whole life. So thanks GQ, my life starts tonight."
Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl was on hand to present the Outstanding Achievement Award to his rock heroes Led Zeppelin, with frontman Robert Plant and guitarist Jimmy Page both taking the stage to accept the honour.
Other winners included British photographer David Bailey, who landed the Lifetime Achievement Award, Josh Brolin, who picked up International Man of the Year, and The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers, who was honoured with the Stylish Man of the Year gong for his outlandish fashion sense.
