LATEST: CARRIE UNDERWOOD's ex-boyfriend TONY ROMO has slammed rumours of a romance with troubled BRITNEY SPEARS. The American football star was spotted enjoying a night out with Spears in Hollywood just hours after the latest hearing in her custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline on Friday (26Oct07), and was reported to have enjoyed a lapdance from her. But the Dallas Cowboys quarterback insists rumours of a burgeoning relationship with Spears, 25, are untrue. He says, "I think (it) sometimes goes with this position. Being the quarterback... you're at the same place with someone else and people just run with it. It's happened a few times now, two or three times where people just say, 'You're dating whoever'... You just learn that and shake your head every once in awhile and you move on."
