REBECCA ROMIJN STAMOS - ROMIJN TAKES ADVICE FROM MACPHERSON

Model-turned-actress REBECCA ROMIJN was so crippled by scoliosis in her youth she refused to exercise - until she was inspired by fellow fashion model ELLE MACPHERSON.
Romijn suffered from the spine condition as a teenager, and claims it wasn't until MACPherson alerted her to the importance of taking care of her flawless figure that she got over her fears and hit the gym.
Romijn says, "Elle told me, 'You have a nice body. You should really take better care of it. That was the best advice I ever got."
And despite her retirement from the catwalk to pursue acting full-time, Romijn insists she's kept a regular exercise regime since her model mentor offered the advice.
She adds, "I'm not model-thin anymore, but that's fine. I've earned everything I have, and I feel great."
