ROMANO MAKES TV COMEBACK WITH MID-LIFE DRAMA SIT-COM
Beloved U.S. TV star RAY ROMANO is making his small screen comeback four years after his long-running hit show ended.
The funnyman, who wrote and starred in the popular sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond for nine seasons, has signed a deal with American network TNT to create ten episodes of new comedy Men of a Certain Age.
Romano, who penned the new show with longtime collaborator Mike Royce, will play a man in his 40s who is still best pals with his college buddies - played by Andre Braugher and Scott Bakula.
The show is slated to air later this year (09).
