HENRY ROLLINS - ROLLINS DREAMS OF BECOMING A PIP

Punk icon HENRY ROLLINS has a secret dream to back soul queen Gladys Knight. The former Black Flag star is an unlikely fan of Gladys Knight + The Pips and admits he rehearsed to become the first white Pip when he was a teenager. He says, "I wanted to be a Pip because I saw them on (US TV show) Soul Train... and every time she'd do something, they all had the choreographed move, and they wore tuxes (tuxedos) and they didn't sweat. "I actually rehearsed it in the mirror, I had it down... It should haven been me, but no one ever put Gladys and I together, so I'm waiting for that call."
