ROLLING STONES - ROLLING STONES EYE LIVE NATION DEAL?

THE ROLLING STONES are reportedly in talks to sign a multi-million dollar (pound) deal with concert promoter Live Nation.
The legendary rockers could join an elite league of music heavyweights including Madonna, Jay-Z and U2 if the deal goes ahead.
According to British newspaper the Observer, the band is considering transferring all rights to its back-catalogue and future touring rights to the entertainment giant.
It is believed a deal could be announced within weeks.
If agreed, it would mark the end to the band's 31-year relationship with EMI Records - and would be yet another blow for the label's new owners Terra Firma.
Since they took over the company in 2007, Terra Firma has seen Sir Paul MCCartney and Radiohead end their relationships with EMI.
The deal could earn millions for The Rolling Stones members - Sir Mick Jagger, Ronnie Wood, Keith Richards and Charlie Watts - in ticket revenue and concert merchandise.
Pop superstar Madonna confirmed a deal with Live Nation in April (08) rumoured to be worth $120 million (GBP60 million).
