RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S MUSIC UP FOR SALE

The entire works of legendary musical duo RICHARD RODGERS and OSCAR HAMMERSTEIN is reportedly up for sale.
A number of publishing companies, including EMI, Sony, Universal and Warner's, are vying for the copyright for all Rodgers + Hammerstein's music, including the scores to hit movie and theatrical productions The Sound of Music, The King and I and South Pacific.
Hammerstein died in 1960 and Rodgers in 1979. The rights are currently held by the Rodgers + Hammerstein Organisation.
