VAN HALEN - ROCK STARS COME OUT TO CHECK VAN HALEN REHEARSALS

The members of reformed supergroup VAN HALEN are preparing for their upcoming U.S. reunion tour by inviting rock's elite to check out their rehearsals.
Anthrax star Scott Ian, Rage Against The MAChine guitarist Tom Morello and Metallica's Kirk Hammett are among those who have joined family members at the Los Angeles Forum as Eddie Van Halen and his bandmates get ready to rock for fans.
And guitarist Ian was so impressed with what he saw and heard recently, he posted a rave review online.
Writing on his MySpace.com page, the rocker has stated, "They were f**king amazing... Seriously, the hair on my arms was standing up.
"The set list was 2 1/2 hours of the best s**t: I'm The One, Atomic Punk, Romeo Delight, Somebody Get Me A Doctor, Mean Street, Unchained and so many more.
"Do whatever you gotta do to get tix (tickets) to see this. FINALLY!!!!! A real full blown arena rock act!!!!! It's like listening to the soundtrack of America since 1978. THE KINGS ARE BACK!!!!!!!"
And Ian admits he was particularly impressed by new bass player, Eddie's teenage son Wolfgang.
The Anthrax star adds, "Wolf was perfect. Great on bass and (he) hit every high note."

Dear friends,
No, I am not surprised that so many notable rockstars would go out to see
Van Halen practice, or perform, as they are apart of Americana, and witness a
healthy sexuality that is hard to beat. So much of their personality shows
through the work, and the majority of their songs are cute, sweet, profound,
and have a zip. David Lee Roth is really flashy, and Eddie V.H. is sort of
shy. Somehow we get to see that they are real people, and we fall in love with
them; their style, their perspective, and their enthusiasm. Boys trying to act
tough, but end up being lovable, endearing, and appealing. What more can I
say? If they went through analysis, they would still come out as excellent.
It's good to see an almost reunion. It's too bad Michael could not be there.
Then again, It's also good to see Wolf get to perform with his dad and uncle.
Wolf needs to shed a few pounds (Jenny Craig?). Why is his dad so skinny? Oh
yea, drugs and alcohol... I hope Wolf can keep his head on straight. At least
his mom seems normal...Great luck guys. How long can Diamond Dave stay in the
band this time? Will he make it through the tour? So much ego, so little time...
