ROCK STAR SCHNEIDER DEAD AT 52

Singer/songwriter NATASHA SCHNEIDER has died of cancer. She was 52.
The Moscow native passed away on Tuesday (01Jul08) at an undisclosed location.
The singer, who was in rock band Eleven, had penned songs with former Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell and rockers Queens of the Stone Age.
A message posted on the MySpace blog of her former bandmate, Troy Van Leeuwen, says, "She was a brilliant, beautiful, and ballsy woman who will be missed deeply by all those who knew her."
A PayPal fund has been set up to help her bandmate and partner of twenty-three years Alain Johannes pay off Schneider's medical bills and there are plans for a series of concerts to raise money for the cause.
