KEANE - ROCK BANDS SQUARE UP ON ISLE OF FIGHT

Far from being a peaceful sing-along on the Isle of Wight, the summer festival has turned into another round of rock 'n' roll handbags.
KEANE and KASABIAN's war of words rumbled on after Keane's lead singer TOM CHAPLIN said he could drink Kasabian's TOM MEIGHAN under the table. Meighan then hit back claiming Chaplin lives on a diet of "pies and Quavers".
The row began last August when Chaplin was admitted to rehab after being "addicted to port". Kasabian found this amusing, with band member SERGE PIZZORNO saying: "All these bloody posh kids. You'd never get us drinking port. Who else but Keane would be addicted to port?"
Meanwhile THE FRATELLIS, the latest band to roll off the indie group conveyor belt, have slammed rock legends the ROLLING STONES at the festival.
Bassist Baz came on stage sporting a "who the f*** is MICK JAGGER" T-shirt, while stroppy lead singer Jon moaned to the crowd about the walkway the organisers had built for the Stones to play in the crowd.
