STEPS - RIVRON KICKED OUT OF CELEBRITY FAME ACADEMY

Comedian Rowland Rivron has been kicked out of Comic Relief Does Fame Academy after he found little favour with the viewing public in the opening round of voting.
Rivron found himself in the bottom three places having performed a unique version of Stand By Your Man on the BBC1 charity series on Saturday night, and was joined by presenter Angelica Bell and fellow comedian Miranda Hart.
Judges Richard Park, Lesley Garrett and Craig Revel Horwood chose to save Bell, leaving Rivron and Hart at the mercy of their fellow competitors.
The popularity contest did not turn out to be much of a contest at all as Hart received ten of the 11 votes, meaning Rivron was forced to pack his bags.
Former EastEnders actor and scene-stealing Extras star Shaun Williamson is the bookmaker's favourite to win the contest, which ends on March 16th.
But Barry faces stiff competition from Heartbeat actress Trisha Penrose and Radio 1 DJ Colin Murray, who is looking to follow in the footsteps of fellow radio presenter and Comic Relief Does Fame Academy 2005 winner Edith Bowman.
Patrick Kielty is again hosting the talent competition, joined this year by Claudia Winkleman after Cat Deeley chose to continue in her role as host of American Idol.
