Former athlete-turned-rapper RICK ROSS has topped the new US album chart with PORT OF MIAMI. The Def Jam release sold 187,000 copies in it's opening week, sending Ross to the top of the charts, replacing hits compilation NOW! THAT'S WHAT I CALL MUSIC 22. Ross' new album also tops the US Top Rap Albums and Top R+B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. BREAKING BENJAMIN's PHOBIA was a surprise for many wen it crashed into the new chart at number two, while heavy rockers SLAYER landed their best debut ever at number five with CHRIST ILLUSION. The soundtrack to hit film STEP UP entered the new chart at number six to become the sixth soundtrack to chart in the top 10 this year.
