KEITH RICHARDS - RICHARDS WANTED THE STONES TO PLAY PIRATE CREW

KEITH RICHARDS reportedly begged the producers of PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN to let the rest of THE ROLLING STONES play a "vile pirate crew" in the next movie - but his request was refused. The veteran rocker will play CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW's father in the next film, but he was convinced his BROWN SUGAR bandmates would have also been perfect for the caper. An insider tells British newspaper the Daily Express, "Keith wanted MICK JAGGER, RONNIE WOOD and CHARLIE WATTS to be in it too. He was hoping they could be this vile pirate crew but the script doesn't allow for it. "He was disappointed but he still wasn't going to pass up on the chance to play pirates with Johnny."
