DAN BYRD - REVENGE OF THE NERDS FILM CANCELLED

Production on the remake of REVENGE OF THE NERDS has abruptly been halted after film executives were unhappy with the quality of the movie. The 1984 comedy, starring KATIE CASSIDY, JENNA DEWAN and DAN BYRD, saw a group of nerds starting their own college fraternity. Sources say Fox Atomic President PETER RICE was unhappy with the daily film clips he had seen so far and decided to scrap the entire movie. Rice says, "Everybody worked very hard on Revenge of the Nerds, and we're all extremely disappointed that we can't move forward." A representative for Fox Atomic said that everyone involved in the film has been paid for their work.
