MTV - REVEALED: INDIANA JONES AND THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL

The title of the eagerly-awaited fourth instalment of the Indiana Jones series has been announced by one of the stars of the forthcoming film.
Speaking at the MTV Video Music Awards, Shia LaBeouf told the audience the new film would be called Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
Directed by Steven Spielberg and with George Lucas on board as executive director, the new Indy film brings together most of the members who worked on the original films, with Harrison Ford once more taking the title role.
Also in the mix are co-stars Cate Blanchett, who picked up an Oscar for her performance in The Aviator, plus British actor and fellow Academy Award winner Jim Broadbent, as well as compatriot and Bafta-winner Ray Winstone.
One person who won't be taking part in the new film is veteran actor Sean Connery, who gave his blessing to Crystal Skull but decided against reprising his role as 'Junior's' father Henry.
The film is due to come out next summer, with a simultaneous worldwide release of May 22nd 2008 pencilled in.
The first Indy films, which began with Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, were a huge success at the box office and became a cult hit as well as a big draw for cinemagoers.
