REV RUN EYES ADOPTION AFTER BABY TRAGEDY

Former RUN D.M.C. rapper JOSEPH 'REV RUN' SIMMONS and his wife are eyeing adoption after tragically losing their newborn daughter last year (06). The hip-hop star and wife JUSTINE were devastated when their baby VICTORIA ANNE died just an hour after her birth in September (06). Justine tells America's Essence magazine, "I always wanted to adopt, but every time I mentioned it my husband would say, 'Why not have your own baby?' "We take for granted that we can just have a baby. But I couldn't. Maybe part of the reason God let this happen is because He wanted us to adopt."
