TOM WAITS - REPLACEMENTS ALBUMS TO BE RE-RELEASED

Legendary alternative rockers THE REPLACEMENTS are set to have several of their albums remastered and re-released in the US this summer.
The albums will feature some previously unreleased gems, such as a TOM WAITS collaboration called Date To Church, reports NME.
All four albums which the band recorded between 1985 to 1990 on Sire Records will be reissued by Sire Record son September 23rd.
These will be TIM, PLEASED TO MEET ME, DON'T TELL A SOUL and ALL SHOOK DOWN.
Frontman Paul Westerberg said he is now able to "go back and listen and know that those are good songs".
Speaking in a statement he said of the song's on their debut TIM: "Yeah, the (recordings) are a little quirky and a little off...but, you know, a lot of the stuff that I've loved throughout my life didn't sound perfect. And I kinda like that about 'Tim'."
The Guardian recently reported that Westerberg is selling his latest album for 49 cents.
