REDSTONE EYES CRUISE RETURN
Viacom boss SUMNER REDSTONE has offered an olive branch to TOM CRUISE - despite dumping the actor from his Paramount-branded studios six months ago (AUG06).
Cruise was sacked from the company after concerns were raised about his outspoken beliefs and sofa-jumping antics on THE OPRAH WINFREY SHOW last year (06), but Redstone admits he would be willing to work with the star again in the future.
He says, "We had to do the best thing for Viacom. The company was disturbed by Tom's then behaviour, which has now changed.
"I would probably work with Tom in the future but not immediately."
