DADDY YANKEE - R+B STARS APPROACHED FOR NEW TV DRAMA

MARY J. BLIGE, DADDY YANKEE and PUSSYCAT DOLLS star NICOLE SCHERZINGER are in negotiations to play themselves in a new U.S. TV drama about the sugar business. Cane producer Jonathan Prince is hoping to turn a central nightclub in the series into a venue where the hottest R+B acts can perform new material - and appear on the show, which is set in the 1960s. Prince says, "These are the kind of people who would be playing in Miami and maybe they happen by this club for an after-party, and they happen to sing or perform. We hope to tie to the show."
