BLACK EYED PEAS - RAPPER TABOO PLEADS NOT GUILTY

LATEST: THE BLACK EYED PEAS star TABOO has pleaded not guilty to two counts of misdemeanour drug possession following a minor traffic collision in March (07). The rapper maintained his innocence in a California court late last week (ends25May07), according to E! Online. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for 28 June (07). The 31-year-old - real name Jaime Luis Gomez - was arrested following a car accident in Industry, California. He has been charged with possession of marijuana while driving, and possession of 28.5 grams (0.06 lbs) or less of marijuana. If convicted, Taboo faces a maximum $200 (GBP100) fine.
