RADIOHEAD - RADIOHEAD USE VIDEO TO PROMOTE GOOD CAUSE

RADIOHEAD are using their latest music video to draw attention to the problem of human trafficking.
The accompanying video for the single ALL I NEED has been produced in association with MTV EXIT (End Exploitation and Trafficking), reports NME magazine.
Directed by Oscar-winning cinematographer JOHN SEALE, of COLD MOUNTAIN fame, and award-winning director STEVE ROGERS, the video will use a split screen to show the life of an affluent young child and that of a young sweat-shop worker side by side.
It will be premiered on MTV on Friday May 2nd.
Speaking to the publication about his role in the project, RADIOHEAD frontman THOM YORKE said: "I think it is cool that MTV is taking on this issue. The video is a powerful piece and I hope that the emotion of the song will jump out at people in the context of these images of exploitation."
He added that he is "proud" of the song and video and hopes that they will help raise awareness.
This is not the first time that RADIOHEAD have used their music to aid a good cause.
As part of US TV channel NBC's Green Week, the band recently performed an environmentally-friendly gig by recording their appearance on the Late Night with Conan O'Brien show in a London studio rather than travelling across the Atlantic.
Their efforts helped save enough carbon dioxide to power a car for a whole year, according to Yorke.
