QUEER EYE FOR THE STRAIGHT GUY - QUEER EYE HERE TO STAY
LATEST: US cable network Bravo has slammed reports they have cancelled hit makeover show QUEER EYE FOR THE STRAIGHT GUY. The show features five gay men TED ALLEN, KYAN DOUGLAS, THOM FILICIA, CARSON KRESSLEY and JAI RODRIGUEZ, who make-over unstylish straight men each week. Earlier this week, website AfterElton.com quoted culture expert Rodriguez as saying, "We haven't been asked back for 2007... Maybe this is how we are going out with a bang. Everyone (in the group) has big new projects." However, Bravo has released a statement to entertainment website TMZ.com, saying, "Bravo's Emmy Award-winning Queer Eye has just wrapped its production cycle. These all-new episodes of Queer Eye premiere every Tuesday. A whole new season is slated for 2007. Queer Eye remains the core of our Tuesday night strategy."

The episodes that have already been shot are not due to air until 2007. But the
show itself has already finished filming for good, all the Fab Five have
confirmed this.
This is not accurate. The episodes that have already been shot are scheduled to
air in 2007, yes. But the show itself finished filming for good in June. All
the Fab Five have confirmed this.
