EMINEM - PRODUCERS SUE EMINEM LABELS

The producers who discovered EMINEM are suing the record labels the rapper has recorded with for unpaid back royalties. Executives at F.B.T. Productions and Em2m LLC. claim labels Interscope, UMG Recordings, Aftermath and rap icon Dr. Dre's Ary Inc. have failed to pay royalties in excess of $1 million (GBP500,000). The two firms filed their lawsuit in California's United States District Court on Thursday (06Mar08) and are seeking payment of the back royalties, damages and attorneys fees.
