PRISCILLA PRESLEY - PRESLEY CALLS SEYMOUR FOR DANCING TIPS

PRISCILLA PRESLEY called pal JANE SEYMOUR before accepting the chance to dance with the stars on TV - for a little moral support. Elvis Presley's former wife admits she's a longtime fan of Dancing With The Stars, but initially turned producers down when they invited her onto the hit show. At 62, Presley will be the oldest female to ever compete on the U.S. show when the new season begins next month (Mar08), and so she went to the previous age-defying dancer, 57-year-old Seymour, for advice. She says, "I got the letter from my agent... and it was, 'No, I don't want to.' And then I said, `Wait a minute. It's fun. It's family oriented and all ages watch the show.' "I rang Jane and she said she'd had a great time (on the show)."
