MISS POTTER co-stars EMILY WATSON and RENEE ZELLWEGER have become unofficial ambassadors for Britain's wild parks and historic properties after researching the life of National Trust co-founder BEATRIX POTTER for their new movie. Zellweger portrays the beloved children's author and conservationist and Watson her sister-in-law in the new film and both developed a love for Potter's England, while shooting. Watson has long been a fan of her native England's wide open spaces and now Zellweger is keen to promote stately homes and sprawling estates and parks. Watson says, "When I go on holiday twice a year with my family we go to properties owned by The National Trust. They own all sorts of historical buildings all over the country and you can rent them out and they're really beautiful, which is part of Beatrix Potter's legacy." Zellweger adds, "You can rent them for the weekend and it's really reasonable too. Go rent a cottage because they can't maintain the maintenance costs of these properties. "We were shocked to find out how inexpensive it was to stay there and why more people don't."
