POLICE WANT TO GET TOUGH WITH SAMBORA

BON JOVI star RICHIE SAMBORA will be charged with misdemeanour DUI and child endangerment, if Los Angeles police officials get their way.
The rocker's daughter and her cousin were passengers in his vehicle when Sambora was arrested for drink-driving last month (Mar08), and police want prosecutors to get tough with him.
The arresting officers at Laguna Beach Police in California handed over the case to the Orange County District Attorney's Office last week (ends11Apr08). Formal charges have yet to be announced.
Sambora faces jail time if prosecutors choose to accept the police recommendations.
Sambora's arraignment is set for 7 May (08).
