STEVE HOLY - POLICE SUSPENDED FOR HOLDING COUNTRY STAR AT GUNPOINT
Two Texas police officers have been given administrative leave after allegedly holding country singer STEVE HOLY at gunpoint. The Dallas County district attorney's office is considering whether to file aggravated assault charges against Randy Anderson, 25, and Paul Loughridge, 48, after the incident which occurred last month (Dec07). The men met Holy and a friend in a bar in Dallas on 27 December (07) before accompanying them home for a game of football. However, following a heated argument over Holy's profession as a singer, the off-duty officers allegedly forced the star down on to the kitchen floor and held a gun to his head. Holy was eventually allowed to go upstairs to find documents to prove his fame, where he immediately told his wife to call for emergency services.
