THE DIPLOMATS - POLICE LOOKING FOR GANG LEADER WITH LINKS TO CAM'RON

Authorities in New York are on the hunt for a gang leader they believe has links with rapper CAM'RON and his crew THE DIPLOMATS. According to police reports, JARED GOMES is the head of a Bloods gang in the Bronx, but has been on the run since December 2005 when the FBI busted a cocaine and gun smuggling ring he was allegedly involved with. Gomes, who was seen dining with Cam'ron last year (06), is also wanted in connection with the shooting of a waiter in North Carolina, reports the New York Post. But a spokesman for the hip-hop star - born CAMERON GILES - denies the rapper's involvement: "(Cam'ron) has nothing to do with anyone who is a fugitive." The Bloods street gang originates from Los Angeles - members are identified by their red clothing.
