BRITNEY SPEARS - POLICE HAVE NO PLANS TO CHARGE SPEARS

LATEST: BRITNEY SPEARS will not be charged with any offence following a stand-off with police at her Beverly Hills, California mansion on Thursday (03Jan08) night. The troubled singer was admitted to Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after the incident, which occurred when she refused to hand over her two boys to ex-husband Kevin Federline after a scheduled visit. Spears is now under close observation at the hospital, where she is being held under Section 5150, meaning medics have reason to believe she is a danger to herself or others. However, police will not be charging Spears over the incident, which they are treating as a domestic dispute. A police spokesperson says, "We do not have plans to charge her. "There was nothing criminal here and as far as the LAPD is concerned the case was closed last night as soon as the children were handed over to their father."

Well, what a surprise that the LAPD will not be charging Britney with child
endangerment, obstructing a court order or anything else. The Sheriffs Dept.
tried to cover up Mel Gibson's racial remarks when he was cited for a DUI,
ignored judge's orders to have Paris stay in jail full term of sentence, did
not cite Britney for speeding this past year and let her continue driving
without a valid California Driver's License, and the LA District Attorney's is
even worse--Lindsay Lohan spent 82 minutes in jail for driving under the
influence and even had cocaine in her pocket--Nicole Richie served about the
same amount of time as Paris for driving the wrong way on an LA freeway under
the influence--and the beat goes on. This is not about poor Britney anymore,
this is about her TWO PRECIOUS TODDLER BOYS. If law enforcement, the judicial
system and her gold digging family and moocher friends would have not continued
to enable her in the past -- perhaps she could have gotten the psychiatric help
she needed and needs now.
