MICHAEL PITT - PITT BEGS MUM NOT TO SEE VIOLENT NEW MOVIE

Actor MICHAEL PITT was so disturbed by his performance in ultra-violent new movie FUNNY GAMES he begged his mother not to see it. The Village star plays one half of a psycho double act which abuses and torments a husband and wife, played by Tim Roth and Naomi Watts, and their child in a remote holiday cabin. And Pitt admits even he struggles to watch his demented performance. He says, "I didn't want my mom to see the movie. It would be really difficult for a mother to watch. "It's a pretty hard movie to watch and I think I've put her through enough. I was in it and it still really affected me when I saw it. It's really good but it's really horrible."
