AEROSMITH - PERRY SCHEDULED FOR KNEE SURGERY

AEROSMITH rocker JOE PERRY is set for crucial knee surgery after trying to ignore chronic joint pain for the past two years. The guitarist is booked to go under the knife next week (18Mar08), according to rock news website Blabbermouth.net, after his knee finally gave out on him during a concert with his sons' group Tab The Band at the beginning of March (08). The website reports Perry could no longer stand the pain and his orthopaedic surgeon scheduled the star for surgery. The rocker has scrapped a solo show at Niagara Falls, New York in April (08) to allow him time to recover from the operation.
