PENN BLASTS BUSH DURING RACY SPEECH

Oscar winner SEAN PENN stunned audience members when he called for the impeachment of US PRESIDENT GEORGE W BUSH and VICE PRESIDENT DICK CHENEY and used the words "blow job" and "c*m stain" during a controversial acceptance speech on Monday (18DEC06). Penn was accepting the Christopher Reeve First Amendment Award at the Creative Coalition ceremony in New York City, when he made the comments in front of a star-studded audience, which included LAURENCE FISHBURNE, HARVEY KEITEL, MARCIA GAY HARDEN, HEATHER GRAHAM and KERRY WASHINGTON. The 46-year-old star went on a rant arguing against the war in Iraq and the Bush administration saying, "Let's put his administration under oath. And then if the crimes of treason, bribery or other high crimes and misdemeanours are proven, do as Article 2, Section 4 of the United States Constitution provides, and remove the president, vice president, and...civil officers of the United States from office. "Let's move forward and swiftly get out of this war in Iraq and impeach these b**tards." Penn also shocked the crowd by saying, "So look, if we attempt to impeach for lying about a blow job (referring to former US PRESIDENT BILL CLINTON and MONICA LEWINSKY), yet accept these almost certain abuses without challenge, we become a c*m stain on the flag we wave."
