In the latest maneuver to track down the anonymous sources of investigativereporters, lawyers for private detective Anthony Pellicano have asked theVerizon phone company to turn over all of the phone records ofex-cop-turned-reporter John Connolly, who covered the Pellicano case forLos Angeles Magazine and Vanity Fair and wrote a book aboutit, The Sin Eater, due to be published later this year by AtriaBooks, an imprint of Simon & Schuster. Pellicano wants Connolly'srecords from as far back as 2002, the year Pellicano's offices in Hollywoodwere raided. .
