PARIS HILTON kept the 24 carat $5 million (GBP2.8 million) diamond engagement ring former fiance PARIS LATSIS gave her - after buying it from him when they split. The Greek shipping heir let Hilton choose the gem, so she couldn't bear to be parted from it when their nine month relationship ended last year (05). She explains, "I wrote him a cheque. I wanted it, I picked it out, I flew around the world to find it."
