THE WEST WING - PALACE HAS A PLACE ON TV

British royal residence Buckingham Palace is coming to the small screen in a brand new TV drama about fictional monarchy. THE PALACE - which has been compared to US political drama THE WEST WING - will be made by Company Pictures, the production team behind royal drama ELIZABETH I. A spokesman for network ITV says, "It is still early days but it should be fantastic. We are very excited." The show will be broadcast in eight one-hour episodes in 2008.
