CLIVE OWEN - OWEN PRAISES CRAIG'S ACTING SKILLS

Actor CLIVE OWEN has lavished praise on fellow British star DANIEL CRAIG for successfully resurrecting the JAMES BOND franchise. Craig was criticised by Bond fans when he landed the role of 007 in 2006's Casino Royale, but the Children Of Men star believes "all the s**t" Craig was given was unnecessary - and insists the actor was always more than capable of filling the iconic superspy role. He says, "They should have been celebrating the fact they gave the role to a proper actor and not a model. "He swung it around big time."
