THE OSMONDS - OSMONDS REUNITE FOR TV GIGS
Musical legends the Osmonds reunited onstage in the US to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their showbiz debut.
The Las Vegas show will be made into a TV special for US network PBS next year and marks the first time the whole family have been onstage together for more than 20 years.
However, no-one is sure of the exact date the Osmonds last played together, such is the frequency of their solo shows.
"We do over 200 shows a year," Wayne Osmond told the Associated Press news agency during the concert.
Jimmy Osmond added: "We make a great shepherd's pie
with a pretty garnish named Marie."
The original Osmonds quartet, which debuted in 1957, comprised of Alan, Wayne, Merill and Jay.
The two younger brothers Donny and Jimmy were then added in the 1970s, while sister Marie also joined the group.
Since then they have all gone on to achieve relative solo success, with other showbiz related ventures such as chat shows and reality TV appearances.
