TRANSFORMERS - OSCARS `LOSER' UP FOR 20TH AWARD

The Oscars' Mr. Unlucky is hoping the TRANSFORMERS can transform his fortunes after landing his 20th Academy Awards nomination. Sound mixer Kevin O'Connell has yet to win gold at the Oscars after 19 previous trips down the red carpet at the event. The 50-year-old holds the record for the most Academy Award nominations without a win. His Transformers efforts will be judged against peers who created sound for The Bourne Ultimatum, No Country for Old Men, Ratatouille and There Will Be Blood. O'Connell will learn of his fate when the Oscars are announced on 24 February (08).
