British rockers OASIS have been granted police protection after a stalker threatened violence against guitarist NOEL GALLAGHER. The band - who are currently recording their seventh album at London's famous Abbey Road studios - were forced to call emergency services after a man attempted to force his way into the building, threatening staff and vowing to assault Gallagher. A source at the studio tells British newspaper The Sun, "The guy showed up in a proper rage. He claimed that he had written all this material that Noel had nicked (stolen) for the new album. "This fella (man) was fuming and threatening to beat Noel up. He tried to force his way into the studio but couldn't get through. He heard the police were coming and turned on his heels." Security at the studios has now been increased and police will now by present throughout the rest of their recording sessions.
